Ahmed is a Serial Entrepreneur and public speaker. He’s the Co-Founder & COO of Haute Hijab, a leading US hijab brand. He’s also the founder of Muslim Entrepreneurs of NYC, a network of talented entrepreneurs working on big challenges.
Ahmed Zedan is the Co-Founder of Haute Hijab, a leading Modest Fashion brand, and community that empowers women through leadership and community engagement. He’s also the founder of Muslim Entrepreneurs of NYC, a network of talented entrepreneurs inspired by faith to solve some of the world’s toughest challenges. Before devoting his work fulltime to Haute Hijab, Ahmed served as VP of Marketing at MarkaVIP, an online fashion marketplace in the Middle East. A LightBank alumn, Ahmed has been building and working on fast-growing startups for many years. He’s also worked as a Consultant for some of the most recognizable global brands such as GM, GE, Walmart, P&G, Emirates, and Nintendo among others.
Ahmed has also taught the Lean Startup methodology and entrepreneurship at AstroLabs, a leading incubator in the Middle East.
Born in Cairo and raised in Chicago, Ahmed has devoted his life to bridging the divides that exist between technology, culture, and human empathy. He completed his studies in Political Science at DePaul University.
